lyrics

NEW KNOXVILLE

(If the disease is excepted as health and the delusion is referred to commonly as truth, then those that are well and see clearly are labeled as the delusional and afflicted.)

God, I will wait forever in a daze. The revelation: YOU give, but it takes! What it takes from me is
all that I wanted to see, but what it provides me is simply the solution sans everything. “Even if the sky falls to the sea, I'll hold you together just hold on to me. And even if the words fall from your lips, I made you to speak them, truth won't be silenced. Just believe! Not what you see. Believe me!” Even conversations waste, and imaginations waste. I could be the sunlight, constant like the moonlight. The mark of this world perched heavy on your brow. How could you want what all else disavows? How could you say you'll obtain the unending qualified peace, when the diseased perceive that all who possess it possess apathy. “Even if the sky falls to the sea, I'll hold you together just hold on to me. And even if the words fall from your lips, I made you to speak them, my little euangelistou Just believe! Not what you see. Believe me!” Even conversations waste, and imaginations waste. I could be the sunlight, constant like the moonlight.
Just believe, just believe! You'll have all that you wanted to see! Always, and for all time? My life is a small price to glimpse the divine!
